Dr. Payton McQuin

Dr. McQuin is originally from La Crescent, Minnesota. He graduated from La Crescent High School and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He then went on to earn his DDS from the University of Minnesota Dental School. He has always been around the field of dentistry and has always had an interest in making dentistry his career. What really hooked him was seeing how life-changing it can be for people when you give them a smile they love.

When it comes to his approach to dental care, Dr. Payton always strives to give his patients a smile they are confident in and to be a provider they can always trust. Along with his dental and interpersonal skills, he provides our patients with a clear sense of all of their options and works with them to achieve their individual dental health goals. What he enjoys most about our Onalaska Smiles office is that everyone here is committed to serving our patients to the best of our abilities.

Outside of the office, Dr. McQuin loves spending time with his fiancée, Brittany: the two of them are getting married in the fall of 2024. Some of his other favorite activities include golfing, mountain biking, skiing, relaxing on the river, and playing with his yellow lab, Ruby.

Administration & Customer Service

About Us

Jolene  – Front Office Administration

Jolene started working with our Onalaska Smiles team in 2022. She really enjoys working with the team at here because someone is always making you smile. Jolene was born in South Dakota and moved to Wisconsin in 2000. She has four children. Prior to entering the dental field, she had always worked in the healthcare field working with insurance. She enjoys meeting new people and making connections when they come into the office. Jolene likes to have everyone feel welcome when they come into the office, whether it be their first visit or they’ve been a patient  for years. She enjoys seeing the smiles on people’s faces when they appreciate their visit with their favorite hygienist. She always tries to make sure patients have all their questions answered before they leave the office. Jolene has recently taken up bicycling. She enjoys spending time with her family and making memories. She also loves to try new recipes.

Dental Hygiene

hanna

Hannah  – Dental Hygienist

Hannah Munson is a dental hygienist who brings a genuine passion for patient care to every appointment. Hannah earned her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Northcentral Technical College in 2025, and from the very beginning of her career, her focus has been on making a real difference in her patients’ oral health.

Hannah believes her role is about far more than just cleaning teeth. She takes pride in building meaningful connections with her patients and watching them grow and improve in their own oral hygiene routines over time. For Hannah, those relationships are what make her work truly rewarding.

She understands that visiting a new dental office can feel overwhelming or even a little scary, and she goes out of her way to help patients feel at ease from the moment they walk in. Her patience and compassion come naturally — she grew up in a big family with six siblings, an experience that shaped her into the caring and understanding person she is today.

Outside of the office, Hannah loves spending time outdoors. You’ll likely find her hiking, fishing, or camping whenever she gets the chance. She’s also passionate about staying active, always eager to try a new workout, and she enjoys watching sports — hockey, basketball, football, you name it!

If you’re looking for a hygienist who will make you feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for, Hannah would love to meet you.

Micah  – Dental Assistant

Micah, one of our talented and compassionate dental assistants, joined our Onalaska Smiles team in the summer of 2022. She had an immediate positive impact on our patients and the rest of our team. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Micah wanted to enter the field of dental care in order to have the opportunity to see the transformation of patients’ smiles. One fun fact about Micah: She likes to put applesauce on Velveeta mac and cheese.

Keelin Mcgrath

Keelin – Dental Assistant

Meet Keelin McGrath, a Dental Assistant with approximately five years of experience in the field. Keelin completed her dental assisting training at Western Technical College, graduating in 2021, and began her career in pediatric dentistry — a passion that continues to shine through in her work today.

Keelin is drawn to dentistry because of the opportunity it gives her to make a real difference in how patients feel about their care. She approaches every visit with compassion, patience, and professionalism, taking time to listen to concerns, explain procedures clearly, and ensure each patient feels supported from start to finish. Her goal is simple: to leave every patient with a smile.

One of Keelin’s greatest joys is working with children. She has a natural gift for helping young patients — especially those who feel nervous — feel safe and at ease in the dental chair. Building those connections and creating positive early experiences with dentistry is something she finds truly rewarding.

When new patients walk through the door, Keelin makes it a priority to greet them warmly and help ease any anxiety right from the start. She loves building relationships and being a consistent, caring presence throughout each patient’s visit.

A proud local, Keelin grew up in the area and attended Onalaska High School. She loves calling this community home and enjoys everything the region has to offer — from its beautiful views to all four seasons. Outside of work, you’ll likely find her hiking, swimming, or catching some live music outdoors.
